The cricketing world is saddened by the unfortunate retirement of one of the all-time greatest gloves-men and a very high-spirited, competitive cricketer. What makes it all the more unfortunate is the fact that he had already announced that he would retire after this England Tour. He could have played his 150th Test Match at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. But sadly he had to retire with 149 Test Matches and 998 International Dismissals.
